The Apartment Toolbox® is a CRM for property management companies to communicate with their and tenants, as well as a CMS to manage dynamic content for their property's sites. This is an Ellipse Communications product (now owned by RealPage) that is provided to clients when a website is built for them.
The Apartment Toolbox® was on Version 4 since 2010, and had been built without any user testing. Over time, frustration echoed from many users about the product's unintuitive interface, interactions, and lack of iPad/Tablet support. I lead the project with Ellipse's lead developers in Q3 of 2014 to give the product a facelift, along with easily improving interactions for a seamlessly positive experience based off of feedback from a limited beta release. It was later delivered as an upgrade to existing Ellipse clientele.
